What it’s all about.
Social activity, laughter, good music, fun, exercise through movement, the joy of being in a group, learning together, and making new friends. Come join us for lessons this fall. No experience is necessary. Never danced, no worry. No partner required. Singles welcome. You will learn with an experienced dancer. Come meet new friends in a safe, alcohol free environment. Clean, casual dress and sneakers or shoes with non-marking soles.
Lessons start October 4. Learn the basics of modern square dancing in this course. The cost is $6 per lesson.
Upon completion, you will receive a diploma that shows you are competent to dance at club dances, jamborees and festivals anywhere in the USA and even across the globe.
From Hartford follow Route 84 W to exit 39. Straight off exit ramp and follow Route 4 W for 5 miles to center of Unionville. Turn left on South Main Street. Turn left at second light on New Britain Avenue. Community Center is 0.8 mile on left.
From Torrington follow Route 4 E to center of Unionville. Turn right on South Main Street. Turn left at second light on New Britain Avenue. Community Center is 0.8 mile on left.
From Waterbury and Southington follow Route 84 E to exit 33 to merge on Route 72 W to exit 1. Turn right on North Washington Street/Unionville Avenue/Plainville Avenue and follow for 5.6 miles. Turn right on New Britain Avenue. Community center is 0.8 mile on left
